How to Sprout Seeds
- Put ½ to 1 tablespoon of seeds in a mason jar.
- Add water and soak for 8 to 10 hours.
- Drain the seeds and place them back in the mason jar. The seeds should be wet but without standing water. Cover it with a cloth, cheesecloth or muslin to prevent dirt from getting in. Keep the mason jar in a cool place, out of direct sunlight.
- Twice each day (morning and evening), rinse the seeds and place them back in the mason jar. Again, the seeds should be wet but without standing water.
- In about 4 to 7 days you will have sprouts. Remove the husks if so desired by soaking the finished sprouts in water and gently removing them.
